Solution to problem of the client workstations only have the client while the server has multistore. If the client doesn't want to upgrade it's version from basic to multistore, follow these steps:
1) Run the installer
2) When you get to the license/product number part, use the same license, but use this product number: 023-147
3) Run it normally (no need to use the batch file on the client workstations for licensing, etc....)
This is the product number for Quickbooks POS 2013 Pro. It will automatically upgrade to multistore upon connecting to a multistore server workstation.
